To be eligible for admission, you must meet the following criteria:

Have an Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
With a minimum GPA: 2.5
Currently work as a Registered Nurse with an active RN license

Professional Experience Credits: 12-24

D&E will award 24 credits to nurses who enter the program with two years of experience working as an RN. Nurses with less experience must document a minimum of 24 professional education credits prior to graduation. (The majority of D&E students—who are continuing from the D&E’s associate’s degree program—should not need continuing education beyond what is required for maintaining their license.)

Clinical Requirements

There are no ”traditional” clinical requirements. Practicums are completed within students’ work environments.
